In 2024, CVWU will be continuing its important work of providing essential oral healthcare services to the underserved residents of Cape Verde. This year, our team of local dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and a registered nurse will be visiting the islands of Fogu and Brava. With this trip, CVWU will have completed dental mission work on all 9 of the Cape Verde islands. Our team is excited to build upon the success of last year's mission, where we were able to serve nearly 1,000 adults, youth, and seniors - many of whom had never seen a dentist before. This crucial work is made possible through the generous donations of our supporters. We are grateful for the continued funding that allows us to have such a significant impact on the oral health of Cape Verdean communities. CVWU remains committed to raising the necessary resources to sustain this important initiative and improve access to quality dental care across the archipelago.
