Cape Verdean Women United, Inc. is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization committed to providing violence prevention education and resources to our community. Founded July 8, 2016, in Brockton, MA, we have been successful in collaborating with other community organizations to bring culturally appropriate violence prevention education to the city, while also encouraging, supporting and empowering women to give back through volunteerism and community outreach.
We have also extended our mission to touch the lives of those across seas and have been on Mission trips to islands of Cabo Verde. In 2017 we joined dentist from the US and were able to provide free dental services to over 500 clients there.
