Our Programs & Services
Mental Health
Our goal is to reduce stigma and bring resources and information in various languages to those in need with this initiative. With access to culturally appropriate information and resources, people are more likely to engage in services. Learn more about our work by getting in touch with our team today!
Violence Preventions Educations
With our organization's mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for addressing this public health issue. Our Raising a City of Champions workshop or RACC works with parents and children to tackle the problems of violence in our city and how to stay safe. Support Groups
Held at the Cape Verdean Association of Brockton, this weekly group serves as a drop-in center where women are welcomed to talk about issues they are dealing with in a supportive, safe, and judgment-free environment. We share our stories, resources and build friendships.
Projects Overseas
At Cape Verdean Women United (CVWU), we extend our mission to help impoverished communities overseas. We have provided food, clothing, and other essentials to families in need in Cabo Verde through our fundraising efforts.
