CVWU has partnered with the YMCA to collaborate on a community violence prevention program. Through this partnership, we offer our signature RaCC program to community members and make referrals to those seeking mental health services.

Through another Department of Public Health grant, CVWU is excited to be partnering with the Old Colony YMCA in Brockton on a gun violence prevention program.

One of the key aspects of this partnership is to “promote and identify effective services” to reduce gun violence and other forms of violence while incorporating behavioral health programming that uses protocols designed to reduce gun violence.

CVWU looks forward to engaging and working with community members at the highest risk for experiencing violence, including youth of color, as well as people of all races who are going through the court system, or have substance abuse disorders, or are victims and witnesses of violence.
