Projects Overseas
At Cape Verdean Women United (CVWU), we extend our mission to help impoverished communities overseas. Through our fundraising efforts we have been able to provide food, clothing and other essentials to families in need in Cabo Verde.
Since 2016 CVWU has also provided free oral health services to the underserved families in Cabo Verde through our dental mission trips. We have served hundreds of families, some who otherwise would not have access to much needed oral health care
MISSION TRIP
2019 Criolas Unidas Oral Health Mission
The goal of the mission is to service underprivileged children and adults in Cabo Verde. Thanks to the Boston dentists and our members among other local contributors in Cabo Verde. We were able to service over 500 men women and children most of whom had never had dental care in their lives!
