Who We Are
Cape Verdean Women United, Inc. (CVWU) is a non-profit 501 c (3) organization committed to providing health and wellness awareness, violence prevention education, and resources to empower our communities.
Founded on July 8, 2016, in Brockton, MA, our team has been successful in collaborating with partner organizations, that share our vision, to bring culturally appropriate educational programs to all.

Wellness Wednesday
Join us for an empowering evening of connection, wellness, and sisterhood at our Women’s Wellness Wednesday – a special Women’s Month Celebration!
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 6:30PM-9:30PM at The Gallery @ Enso Flats (50 Centre St., Brockton, MA 02301), enjoy an Educational Talk on Women’s Health presented by Health Imperatives, an expert Skincare Session, and a fun Paint Night. Plus free mocktails, refreshments, raffles, and giveaways! Come recharge, learn, create, and celebrate with incredible women in our community in a beautiful, welcoming space.
